I love him just as I knew I would, but he definitely has some issues. I dunno, it's probably just me, but it always feels like I'm not controlling neutral well enough with Zair and SHPKF, as good as they are. Add to that sometimes I have problems sealing stocks and matches can be a lot longer then with Ness.

I think it'll just take me some time to adapt to his new playstyle. Dair is no longer the godly approach tool it used to be, PKT1 really needs an end-lag buff, etc you get the idea. He's a very decent character, and possibly even handles Luigi better than Ness, but at the moment if I'm 2-stocking someone as Ness, with Lucas it'll be same stock 50%+. I need to perfect him still.

But with all of that said, I couldn't be happier that he's in smash, and I'm going to work my absolute hardest with him. I played him when he was a low tier in Brawl, so I reckon I can still do it now. And he's just one of my favourite video-game characters anyway, so I'll enjoy every step of the way. =)

And yeah, for sure I miss zap jumps, magnet pulls, dustersliding and the like, but at least he still has thunderbouncing like Ness, and to make up for it he's got some crazy combo/chaining power now, and GR shenanigoats don't screw him over anymore :3

Sadly I think that he still gets slightly bodied by Marth, just like in Brawl :x

That's awesome! I haven't heard anything from Ryu recently so that's awesome to hear.

I found the Israeli smash scene and I won an online tournament here (with Ness of course ). GFs was tough though. Adom4 is a really great player and does lurk the boards.
