Yeah, just downloaded the latest updates. It's awesome, I certainly think Charizard's Uthrow being his kill throw makes far more sense than his Dthrow being such. His Uthrow is visually his coolest throw in my opinion, and I'm glad that this awesome-looking move now has a practical effect matching its appearance in terms of epicness.

To be fair, that's not the only buff Charizard got. Now his D-throw is a combo starter. I'd say that means Zard lost a KO move, but U-throw's probably even better of a KO move due to being a Star KO move

Yeah, Charizard's current Uthrow is undeniably a far better kill throw than his old Dthrow. His current Dthrow being a combo throw is nice, although given that the attacks he can use to follow up from a Dthrow depend on the opponent's weight and %, I think the old cookie cutter "Fthrow/Bthrow off-stage to Flamethrower edgeguard" "combo" is more consistent,

as not only does its not really involve memorizing much about what follows up at what %s on what character, but Charizard's Fthrow and Bthrow both deal 10% damage, while Dthrow only deals 6% damage, meaning the Charizard player would have "wasted less of a successful grab" if he happens to fail to pull off the appropriate follow-up after the throw

(as the opponent can airdodge or double jump out of the follow-up after the Dthrow depending on their %).

That's nice. Have you tried any of the new DLC characters/stages yet?

Yeah, I'm pleased with Dream Land 64 returning especially, as I personally love Battlefield as you probably already know. And with another tournament-legal stage in the game similar to Battlefield, I'll have a higher chance of being able to play on a stage that favors me in tournaments and on Anther's ladder,

as I am able to play optimally on Battlefield, Castle Siege, Delfino Plaza and Dream Land 64, so even if the opponent bans three of those stages, I can still choose the fourth one.

I also like all the DLC characters, and Roy returning is especially nice. I might pick up Ryu sometime as well.

Yeah, I really like having Dream Land 64 back. As much as I like Battlefield, I feel like the platforms are just a bit too low. Dream Land 64's platforms feel just right for me. Suzaku Castle, while being banned, still has (the SNES version of) Ryu's theme, which sounds good, and the music change when the match is almost over is a nice touch.
