Yeah, I originally just meant to create it. Never meant to create it in that group. Sorry about that... I've never really been on a forum before, so I don't know how they work...

Again, I'm sorry about that ^^;

Also, how do you become a "member," or whatever this site uses, of various groups like the one I accidently posted that to?

It's no problem at all! I saw you were new, so it's all good! If you ever have any questions, just ask a moderator or admin.

To become a member of a social group that's set to private, you can try asking the owner. However, certain groups, like the one you tried to post in, have other qualifications that one must meet to receive an invitation. For that group, it's mainly being active and intelligent in Smash 4 discussion for a good long while. Hope that helps!

Ah, okay. Thanks man!

Not a problem at all!

Oh, hey, I have one more question: How exactly can you tell if a group is private or not?
Opossum

I'm...actually not sure. Which is bad since I'm a group mod. In general, I guess if you can't see any posts if you click on a thread, it's probably private.

Hmm, well, thanks anyway man...

I can tell you this though: there's varying degrees of privacy. Some groups don't even let outsiders see their thread titles due to privacy. Others let the thread titles be seen. Some are public to post in. It varies.

Are there any that let anyone join?

I'm just really looking for a general group where I would be able to talk about Smash Bros. with other people. I have a good amount of knowledge of the games, but not to the levels of professional players.

I also don't know exactly how much knowledge of how these games is actually required to join a group.
