Anyway, I decided to go back to DS1 and try to beat O&S again. Long story short, I've beat every boss in the game...I just have Gwyn left. I beat Artorias first try, though! :D

Congrats, Artorias isn't a pushover at all. Who is your favorite boss in the game, btw?

Pikachu and Snorlax. Dat music. Also Ornstein is so ****in cool. The fact that they brought him back in DS2 but NOT his armor makes me so mad, lol.

There's a lot of bosses I wanted to say, but they are all either too easy to be memorable (Gargoyles, Taurus Demon) or so hard or obnoxious I don't want to remember them (Kalameet, Artorias) Sif is a close second, however....speaking of which, I made a horrible mistake of fighting Sif after Manus :'(

I had trouble with Taurus Demon, which is quite surprising since both Phalanx and Last Giant are quite easy in DeS/DaS II. Anyways, I guess Ornstein and Smough are the favorites of most Souls fans

Well I had trouble with all three, heh. And I actually hate Smough, stupid buttstomp and plow attack. So saying O&S is my favorite boss is only half true
I wish Ornstein had lore, though. Artorias is really the only compelling Knight of Gwyn.

Well, Ornstein appearing in Dark Souls II gave him a little bit more of 'lore', but sadly that is about it. Ornstein sucks, but I like his design a lot! Also, you had trouble with Phalanx?!

It was my first boss on my first Souls game, gimme a break
Still, if you run out of firebombs the fight takes a long longer than it should...
You have no idea how much I want to see a Dark Souls X Mega Man game ala the Street Fighter one.

That is quite the random idea for a cross over. Anyways, Phalanx was easy, I killed her without firebombs in my first try. Tower Knight, on the other hand....

That's funny because after playing Dark Souls, bosses like Tower Knight become really easy for me...
And really, it's actually perfect if you think about it. They're both really hard games that revolve around defeating different bosses and claiming their power. A lot of spells in Dark Souls could be made into the weapons Mega Man finds.

Ex. Lightning Spear = Laser Trident, Dark Bead = Triple Blade, Homing Crystal Soulmass = Leaf Shield.

Okay, I just beat Manus and Kalameet, solo, first try, on NG+. I am officially not **** at Dark Souls! :D

Congrats. That must have been tough! I am currently at Anor Londo, will fight Pikachu and Snorlax soon. Also, I finished my second playthrough of Dark Souls II and I enjoyed it a LOT more than the first time. I had a great time with it, now I shall wait for the DLC to go on sale on Steam.

Btw, what kind of weapon do you use in the Souls games?

Yes it was very stressful! The only reason I fought Manus alone was because I was frantically searching for Sif's sign and never found him lol. And Kalameet is cake for me now because I spent half an hour trying to get his damn tail off.

Oh, and Gwyndolin and his father are decidedly the most BS bosses on NG+. I'm on NG++ now (trying to get all the trophies) and killed Gwyndolin - before realizing his covenant had the last miracle I needed. FML.

Anyway, I'm a Dex build so I like fast weapons. I like Katanas in DS1, but not so much in DS2. I like straight swords. My favorite weapon in Dark Souls is the Balder Side Sword.
In DS2, either the Fume Sword or the Ice Rapier.

I also really like whips in DS2.

I don't remember Gwyndolin and Gwyn's fights that much, but I will soon. I beat O&S earlier today and they still kicked my butt. Smough's hammer is full of BS.

I see! I prefer spears and hammers myself, although I don't use hammers that much because I suck at str builds in Souls. Moonlight Spear, Dragonslayer Spear, Sacred Chme Hammer, Heide Spear and oh, Defender's Great Sword has an amazing moveset also. I love those boss weapons, even if most of them are inferior to common weapons.
