I've been having some misfortune playing as him/her in the 3DS version...when I said that Robin was one of my favorite characters in the game, it was mostly because of how well I performed in FFAs. One-on-one For Glory matches (as well as playing with friends) were another story. I felt much more confident using Bowser and Charizard on the 3DS than I ever did with Robin, unfortunately.

But I haven't given up yet! I intend to give Robin another chance when I get my hands on the Wii U version, because from what I've heard, he/she is a much better character to play in that version of the game. It's difficult using the Levin sword when you're playing on such a tiny screen and a fragile C-stick, but with the Wii U version you don't need to worry about that.

Still, in spite of me dropping Robin on my list of mains (at least for now), she's still my most played character in the game by far, and it was only because of competitive reasons that I dropped her from there. When I want to have fun, I pick up Robin and start blasting away Elthunders and Thorons at my friends.

Oh, I see. I know the feeling of wanting to play a character, but not being able to adapt to their play style, in the end. Although I have Villager listed as my main, I have been using Ness most of the time because he is the character (that I like) I can win most consistently with).

As for Robin, I don't think she is that better on the Wii U. My experience with her in both versions are about the same. Of course, that is just MY experience and doesn't hold water in the grand scheme of things :p Hopefully you will enjoy her better on the Wii U!

Last but not least, Bowser suits you very well! You seem to have a thing for fire-breathing monsters, huh? :D

Thanks! I don't think I've said this to anyone here before, but Bowser has always been one of my favorite video game characters since I was a kid. Like you and Pikachu, I've always been extremely fond of him and his appearances in the Mario series as either a boss, a nuisance, or a playable character.

I remember drawing pictures of him back in elementary school, alongside Charizard and various other video game reptiles. Bowser is just so hilariously hammy as a villain that I can't help but root for him whenever he appears on stage, even when it's at the end of the game.

I started using him again in Smash 4 after seeing the buffs he got during development, but I'm still hoping for the day that he'll be given his Kenny James voice.

In real life though, people have never really compared me to Bowser, mostly because I was small and weak as a child. If anything, they would compare me to Yoshi, which is incidentally another one of my favorite video game characters (who can breathe fire).

No problem. I have always appreciated him too, but it wasn't before Bowser's Inside Story that I became a fan of the character.

Yeah, it is a shame he doesn't have his cartoony voice. The roars don't fit him at all :(

You seem to like a lot of characters coming from platformers!
