I had always said I was getting the game for sure as long as Midna was playable, and she looks far more awesome than I expected!
I'll be playing as Midna in Hyrule Warriors nonstop up until Smash comes out!

Anyway, Midna made this game go from a wanted game to a must-own game. This news was better for me than all of the Smash Bros news combined.

I love her design, it doesn't stray too far from Twilight Princess's.
Oh, hey, thoughts on Zelda U? I have no idea what to think about it yet. Seems... new.

Her actual design is exactly the same. Though, I have noticed they made her face slightly cuter.

There isn't much to say about Zelda U. Except, that I think the possibility of hi-tech items and, more importantly, a female protagonist, are really exciting. I really wish they had shared more on the game, though.

Link was confirmed to be Link, but who knows? Nothing there says that's the main protagonist. But... it's pretty likely :x

Isn't it weird though that they had a tech demo so many years back, intended to reveal this last E3, intended to reveal this again in October, and now that it's June 2014 that's all we get?
Well, I'm staying hopeful. I don't want a 2016 release date.

I know its Link, that didn't need a confirmation. But Aonuma said that he was open to the concept of a female lead, which is a good sigh considering the state of the game's development.

I do wish that they would be gone somewhere with that tech demo. Speaking of which, I noticed something regarding Amiibos.

Sort of. Logically, the pictures in the Amiibo collage would indicate games with that functionality, yes? There is artwork for Lucina and Link (Twilight Princess) in that collage, though. Perhaps I'm looking too far into it, but maybe we will see remakes of Twilight Princess and Awakening on the Wii U?

IMO that would be a great idea!
They may not be too old, but their is still a lot of room for graphical improvement. And hell, I'd love to see some tweaks in gameplay and maybe even story. They're making a lot of remakes now, I want to see them go all-out with this.

Perhaps a Twilight Princessremake for 2016 is doable? That would be its tenth anniversary.
Considering Fire Emblem Awakening's success, I could easily see a remake for Wii U, like Resident Evil Revelations (also an awesome game, btw)

I was so hyped when 3.0 came out... but then I couldn't set it up right... eh...
If that were to happen I'd need step by step instructions to get it going
