My stance is that the Sal Romano leak is questionable, but disappointing enough to be real. So, kinda in the middle, I guess. The reason why I use the word 'disappointing' is because the Melee and Brawl leaks were the same exact way and got similar reactions.

And, yes, Goomy is awesome. :D

Yes, I would tend to agree with that. While it is very possible for it to be real, I find quite a number of things about it odd, and the explanations I've seen for these oddities seem somewhat flimsy.

Now, on a scale of 1 to 10, how amazing is Goomy?

Well, usually when a couple of people are telling you to trust them, they're trying to sell you something fake, so that's what stood out to me as the strangest thing out of the whole leak. There's also a lot of other things that don't stack up or fit right.

And Goomy is easily an 11.

Really? Did that Sal person tell people to trust in him and his "source?" I never heard that before. Though to me, the most suspicious thing about the leak is that it came in two separate parts, and that the characters it leaked are unusually difficult to de-confirm.

So what about Goodra, then?

Sal doesn't necessarily say it himself, but he's got a 'friend' who essentially said 'I saw it, it's legit.'. Which, to me, equals 'Trust him with no proof.'. Not to mention, most leaks leak ALL the characters all at once. I find fragmented leaks to be silly.

Goodra is a 9. Goomy is all things.

I agree. I don't see much logical reason for the leak to come out in two separate parts. If the first leak was just for E3, well, he got that partially wrong, so why not leak all at once? And if the leaker is trying to keep his job, why is he leaking at all? It just seems odd, really.

Actually, I think Goodra is just as good as Goomy.

Well, the thing that's got a lot of people on the fence is that, y'know, the second leak has nothing going for it yet. I don't find 'Pokemon from X and Y' to be conclusive enough evidence that he knew something was there. Rosters were decided way back in '12, and even if Greninja wasn't decided 'til after X/Y's launch, it's suspicious that the guy didn't do his homework.

I think that one likely possibility for the leak is that the first part, or at least half of it, is real, and everything else was made up after that. Perhaps the leaker got his information from E3 rather than by working on the game; that would get him Wii Fit Trainer, but since he only had three, he might as well have added to it and make it look like he knew everything.
