Shucks; it did seem out of the character, considering we have been somewhat following each other in the past few days, to lash out in such regard. You have quite the means to debate properly, so it threw me off, especially with ... er... the other guy, whatever his name was, following right behind.

I understand weak spots... one of my first posts on this board came after the direct when I wrote an ode to my fallen hero Pokemon Trainer, and my beloved animal friend Squirtle.
What exactly is your stance on Toon Link? I'm not sure now if my point was in fact communicated; he is seen, it seems, as the representation of Young Link in Zelda games, meaning a prevailing hero.

Now, I think distinguishing Links, or any character, is silly, as most Link's are not the same person, and the statement that Toon Link is Young Link is even stranger for other various reasons. I don't think fans would even have asked for another Link, who is inherently the same character, as if it were not represented, if he hadn't been.
