  • oh xP i thought it was this monday. Silly me :p. I guess we can brawl next friday if that's okay with you. I hear you got a pretty legit Mario btw
You can take the win. I'm going hunting for the weekend, plus i've got homework when i get home from that.
Yeah it was the one with the kid dressed up as Mario right but also saw you try another one after that one though; I personally like your current current more anyway xD
Yeah it was. =P Sometimes our matches are ok, but this time it wasn't good to play. GGs though.
Thanks man! GGs. I had to stop because I had to go out. I feel you, because I do everything with the c-stick so if it stopped working for me I'd be SOL.
It'll be a while before i go UberLuigi on SWF, but on AiB and Fsmash.org, it's a definite yes. I just want to hold a bit of time, seeing how i've only had my current username for a month, and my name changes reset in December, i think.
That's not reaction to the startup of his SideB. That's reacting to Falco's position in the air or anticipating his SideB. Mario's FLUDD starts affecting objects in 21 frames. Falco's SideB hitbox is active on frame 17 and immediately after he travels full hitbox distance in 2 frames. If you started FLUDD at the same time Falco started his SideB, he would grab the ledge just before the FLUDD would have hit him.

The only way you're legitimately gimping Falco out of his SideB is either on an extremely good read where the reaction onus is on FALCO, not you, or if Falco DIs something like D-smash really badly. The point is you cannot FLUDD his SideB on reaction if he leaves open the option to do a midair jump. And Falco can feasibly react to your options and can safely counter them.
Falco has better priority than Olimar and his physics make him much harder to combo. He camps better, outpokes Mario solidly, and he's actually not easy to gimp if he knows what he's doing. You mostly can't FLUDD his SideB on reaction, and if you just FLUDD him and he does nothing, he gets back safely.

All in all Falco devolves into a poke and camp war that is not in Mario's favor. Mario's reward for successfully approaching Falco is usually low since his combos on Falco aren't that good. While Falco does have more trouble killing, he controls everything else in the matchup by far much better than Olimar does. The only way Falco can be made more manageable is if you have a lead and there is no LGL.
I'm not using VirtualBox, I did some fancy magic where I can dual-boot except it's not actually dual-booting or something with a virtual hard drive. Or something.
So I used Wubi, and now I'm on Ubuntu 10.04. I can't hear a single thing, though. Sounds are all on, tried fiddling with System -> Preferences -> Sounds, and tried entering and then leaving the Use Audio usergroup thing (found one place that said you can't be in it, another said you have to).

I think this is the problem, though:
**** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices ****
card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], device 0: ALC269 Analog [ALC269 Analog]
    Subdevices: 0/1
    Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], device 3: INTEL HDMI [INTEL HDMI]
    Subdevices: 1/1
    Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

    No idea what to do.
What's the difference between 32- and 64-bit Ubuntu? I chose 32-bit, the recommended one, IIRC.
    My "Let's Play" Channel (click)

Just wanted to let you know about my Let's Play series I've got going on. Basically, I play blind playthroughs of video games you guys request and that's it. :bee:

I'm currently playing Shadow of the Colossus (PS2) and Yoshi's Island (SNES) and I've already finished a Mega Man 10 (Wii) LP as well.

Just want to invite you in on the fun if you haven't heard about it. If you like the videos definitely SUBSCRIBE to my channel and post on my wall so we can discuss what other kinds of games you'd like to watch me play!

Thanks for the support. Spread the word!
Or that... Yeah, I think my texture hack had to do something about that. I deleted it off my SD card so I hope it doesn't happen again... *crosses fingers*

I never was a fan of character textures...
Oh, i meant the co-matching avatar scheme. But sure, i'm able to play on a Friday if you can.
I'll have to experiment with Luigi a bit more to confirm my decision. If you're on WiFi sometime tomorrow, that'd help.
Today actually. I was just asked if I wanted to be a moderator of Customized Content and I was like "suree" :bee:
    Thanks dude.
