  • You have to come to Katsucon this year, I have to show you how much I improved since the year before.
FAF is the first actionable frame which is also called IASA by some. FAF is a more correct term since it applies universally.
Yeah, if you don't have something like DK Up-B, then all you're using the aerial for is fast-falling. The fast falling slows down you're momentum so that you do not go as far, making you live longer.
I was also watching your DK play against Mizu. You Up-B braked a few times when you would have lived just off of regular DI. You need to recognize situations where you would die without the up-b and where you live with it. Because using it unnecessarily will get you punished.

In terms of frame data for momentum canceling it is the FAF instead of the hitframe. Some attacks are known for their fast hitframes (MK D-smash) and some are known for their amazing FAF (MK F-smash).
so it appears that we need to decide upon low-tiers. I went ahead and banned luigi from mine. But the issue of wolf and sheik is still at hand. I would like to go ahead and confirm whether or not these will be banned so that people can decide upon their low-tier character. Do you have any input into these 2?
It isn't the hitboxes, it's the first actionable frame that allows for the character to double jump. But other than that, all it is helpful for is the fast fall.
Yeah, I saw that when it was posted on the Lucas boards.
I already knew about the Ledge Whipping. It's sometimes useful, but against players who know how to play against it and know that it's there, it's hardly of use sometimes.
He never got a true D-air>D-tilt Lock funnily enough. The one time he was able to get that combo was when the Snake was not at a high enough percent to get locked. Instead Galeon got lucky and got a trip with tipper d-tilt. That lead to the grab he got. If you want to know more about how jab/d-tilt locks work, just send me another VM and I'll explain it to you. It was for that reason that he was not able to get more d-tilts. If he's not getting D-tilts outside of the D-tilt lock, he's going to get punished for landing it on hit. (exp. 11:32).
As for momentum canceling the two best aerials to use are b-air and n-air actually. But the frame data for b-air, n-air, f-air and u-air are so similar that it doesn't really make any matter.
