  • Star Trek TNG CCG was and still is awesome. Most especially the competitive scenes. Games are generally a lot longer than the average card game most notably the preparation and universe creation which can take up to 20 minutes, and most games last about 40 minutes. The longest tournament game I was involved in was a whoping two hours and fifty minutes. Check out a quick Wikipedia if you're a TNG fan. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Trek_Customizable_Card_Game One of the coolest tournaments was an official Gene Roddenberry event back in 1998 where the winner of the tournament got to meet Brent Spiner, Marina Sirtis (omg hawt), and Michael Dorn, have lunch with them and get a bunch of free stuff autographed, AND an invitation to see the premier movie, Insurrection, when it came out later that year. The winner of that tournament used an aggressive hybrid Romulan/Klingon rush deck with an absolutely wicked anti-Federation sideboard.
