#1 rule of competitive Brawl; you have to have some kind of confidence. If you think you're going to lose, you will. Look at me; we both got ***** pretty hard at the first tournament we went to, but after a few more events, I'm one of the top 5 players in Alberta. And I use Yoshi. You won't win anything, but I know for a fact that you won't be the worst player there. Just ask if anybody needs a partner, and if so, they might pair up with you. You can always find somebody last-minute before the event starts anyway. Just...don't forget to bring enough cash for your entry fees.

Anyway, to answer your questions again, you can definitely go, but you should post in the thread that you're going since you're not a regular. It's not a big deal for people like myself who normally show up, because people know who we are and expect us to be there. The address is in the thread, but you don't have to worry about finding it, because it's stupidly easy to find. I can navigate, because I've been there a couple times already, and like I said, it's easy to find. You are driving me, because it means my parents don't have to, and that's a good thing. Pick me up at 10:30, and we should get there around when the doors open at 11:00. Finally, if you want to enter doubles, you'll need to find a partner, as I already have one that I have a very strong chance of winning money with. You can post that in the thread while you're saying that you'll be there.
