I know Thorgi said he wouldn’t do Project X Zone 3 but if he did, I’d like to lay down some ground rules / ideal numbers:
1). Only characters owned by Namco, Capcom, SEGA and Nintendo (though they don’t have to be strictly characters created by those companies). Cross-company Pair Units are allowed.
2). The number of characters should be more than PxZ 1 and 2, but not too much more
3). Characters from Namco x Capcom, PxZ1 and PxZ2 are fair game to return
4). PxZ1 and PxZ2 all used human or human-looking characters, so this roster would be built with that in mind (so sadly, no Mario, Sonic, PAC-MAN or even Klonoa here)
5). The ideal number of playable characters should be 24 Pair Units (6 from Namco, 6 from Capcom, 6 from SEGA, 3 from Nintendo, and 3 mixed pairs) and 24 Solo Units (7 from Namco, 7 from Capcom, 7 from SEGA and 3 from Nintendo
6). Namco x Capcom had 5 prologue chapters and 45 main story chapters, so that would be the ideal number of chapters for this hypothetical game
