The 32-bit era easily had the best startups of any one gaming generation, with only the directly following generation coming close - even the bad consoles like Jaguar; Amiga CD32; and CD-i had incredible startups - so it's kind of a shame that the N64 didn't have a startup, and when it did get one on the DD it was probably the least remarkable startup of the console market at that time.
