Sounds interesting. Been playing more myself because I don't have access to my PC for various reasons and it has been too hot to do much else.

Why you play.

Needed something to play during my rest hours. It's been way too hot to do much else.

I think I've had my fill now though. I thought this game was bad when I left but it really devolved into something horrifying.

It's mortifying.

I felt wifi is best when you don't have it (or play it) permanently, and kind of like a month in-between at best. I signed up for the free trial two weeks ago, because I wasn't sure I'd put with it.

Honestly, it's not even the latency itself that bothers me so much as Ultimate's really bad design. I realized that while latency isn't ideal, it makes online Ultimate unplayable because you only have a margin of error of a few frames normally. I once worked out the frame advantage of the dodge mechanics and you only have like a three frame window to punish them in neutral if you are playing a character like Sheik. Outside of specific combo situations and tools you're lucky if things only return to neutral and your opponent doesn't get a cheap win off of your whiff.
