When it comes to the service, Nintendo's hardware isn't the problem, Nintendo's software is. Third party offerings tend to run excelently. If either Nintendo put the effort into making their games run well or Nintendo consoles weren't gasping for third party games, there wouldn't be much more complaining than there is over PS or Xbox having paid online (though the expansion pass is a different case)

NSO is an enigma to me at this point; I usually have pretty good performance online, but some Smash matches are utter slogs for no discernable reason (and SMM2 online suffers from heavy lag more than it doesn't). I do think that the online could be improved, but it's not as straightforward as "online is bad and good experiences don't matter" - We need to figure out the factors which cause the good experiences and figure out how to replicate that for more people.

Wario Wario Wario Wario Wario Wario This post is more so about how it’s kind of BS when certain people harass others for not thinking badly of the service.

The quality of the service isn’t really the main focus here.

I was trying to lean towards that towards the end of my post, but I don't think I made it clear enough - My apologies. What I was trying to say was being a jerk towards those who have good experiences don't really help anything and only fuels more discourse between Nintendo fans (and there's enough of that as it is, to be frank)
