  • I discovered something very important a day late, and I'm very peeved about it. Turns out it was Nosferatsu's 100th anniversary yesterday - being the oldest surviving movie adaptation of Dracula, and essentially a cornerstone of the horror genre, it's hella important... and yet like, I didn't hear anyone talk about it. Anyways, I'm going to give it a watch today - I've taken quite the interest in really old movies as is (I've always loved Metropolis, for example) so I'm hoping it's good. :)
Some random dumbass idea I just came up with on the fly in a Discord call kinda warranted me sticking it here so uh here y'all go - imagine if there was, like, something similar to Marvel vs Capcom... but instead, with Dark Horse vs. Image? Hear me out here.

With Dark Horse, you get a ton of really cool characters and IPs to work with, such as:
    • Hellboy.
    • The Mask (who I'm shocked didn't get into Mortal Kombat, he'd be amazing in it.)
    • The Umbrella Academy.
    • Abe Sapien.
    • Oh, and Barb Wire, who'd be pretty cool to see (please not the Pamela Anderson version though)
    • Pretty much all of CGW, which includes characters like Ghost and X who'd be fun to work with!
    • The Goon, who'd be pretty cool too!
    • Usagi Yojimbo, literally having Miyamoto Usagi - a samurai rabbit - as the main character.
    • Black Hammer, which would be a cool series to see here somehow.
    • If you count third party IPs for DLC or something, Dark Horse is most notable for their works with the Alien IP, but also things like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Predator and Conan amongst others. Plenty of potential!
Oh, and for Image? Well, you get:
    • Invincible (which has become hella popular since the adaptation!)
    • Spawn (who does already have history in fighting games, specifically SoulCalibur II!)
    • The Wicked + The Divine (which seems to have been hella well recieved!)
    • Kick-Ass.
    • Monstress.
    • Deadly Class.
    • Astro City.
    • The Maxx.
    • Jupiter's Legacy.
    • And if you're counting third party IPs here as well - well, you get IPs like The Walking Dead, G.I. Joe, The Crow, and technically the original TMNT - so some solid options here!
Yes I know that both of these are mostly made up of creator-owned properties but it'd still be cool as hell okay pls make it happen
Something that shocks me that we haven't gotten on the Switch yet is a new Pilotwings title. I mean, purely the look of it would be exciting - the Pilotwings stage in Sm4sh and Ultimate spring to mind - but the Joy-Cons as a control scheme would be perfect. I mean, things that spring to mind are a traditional plane (hold your Joy-Cons up in front of you,) a glider (hold them sideways, a little like Power Cruising from Wii Sports Resort,) and hell even the Bird Suit (which you could do by flapping your arms with the suit on.) I'd like to imagine there could be a lot of unique ways to get around, and maybe it could be possible to have the world be open - including all of the islands from the Pilotwings series, including the classic Pilotwings island, Little States and even Wuhu Island!

It just seems like something really logical to me, somehow. I guess it might come to pass but I imagine that the 3DS game didn't sell well so Pilotwings is... probably dead. :(

    Wow KneeOfJustice99 from
    has a Wikipedia article.
Lowkey, a really cool thing to have seen in Shovel Knight would be who I shall christen Cannon Knight. Their design would be very, very loosely based on Mega Man's, keeping the blue palette and all, and he'd wear a cannon on his arm that can shoot cannonballs. However, he'd be a sort of fusion of Mega Man, Bass and X, being able to wall jump and shoot in 8 directions, as well as charging an even faster attack and being able to hold himself upward by firing cannonballs directly downward.

idk seems like it'd be fun
There's a small part of me that wants to make a fighting game where every character is, in some way, associated with a sport. Like, there's some suspension of disbelief and they're all wacky and crazy, but they all are each themed on one particular sport. For instance, a tricky setup-based tennis player who's an expert with projectiles and mid-range attacks with their racket, or a fencer who's good at rushing in and out but lacks outright knockback or damage, or perhaps a skateboarder who'd use tricks and stunts in order to attack opponents, being fast on the ground and effective in the air but having a mechanic where they can crash out, dealing them a little extra damage than most. This'd be a nightmare to balance, I'm aware, but hey I guess it could be okay or something
Possibly a hot take - but I think personally that alternate models would be, in many (but not all) cases, more interesting and better than simply recolours. Of course, I know that we have to consider that games take a lot of dev time, but here's a few that, to me, just make sense to add:

    1. I'd personally replace Joker's second "school" outfit with his Persona 5: Dancing outfit. In fact, on that, I'd also change Morgana's model to reflect his appearance in P5D when you use it (crown and all!) I think it'd be pretty cool to see there, plus you never know... it'd be nice to see some rips from the Dancing soundtrack if we're sticking with it being the "Persona 5 Franchise," right?

    2. I honestly think that at this point, it's a genius move to give Mario alts based on his various items. There's some that wouldn't work given they're already in Smash (Metal Mario springs to mind,) but items such as the Frog Suit, the Penguin Suit, the Cat Suit and the Hammer Suit would work wonderfully for this. (To be honest, I'd love to see a character like the ? Block purely to represent the sheer number of items in the Mario series.)

    3. Project M is lauded for this I'm aware, but an alt for Samus based on her classic appearance is perfect. However, I think it'd be cool to see her Dread look in the next title - similar to how Link changed his appearance to his BotW look.

    4. On Link, I think that it would have been awesome if his various alts were, in fact, costumes you could equip within BotW itself (and if you really wanted to push it, swords and shields that'd fit.) Let me elaborate:
    1. Champion's Tunic set (like we already have,) obviously keeps the Hylian Shield and Master Sword.
    2. Hero of the Wild set (again like we already have,) keeps the Hylian Shield and Master Sword again.
    3. Traveller's set, uses the Traveller's Sword and Shield. (Imaginative, I know.)
    4. Knight's set, using the Knight's Sword and a slightly smaller Knight's Shield.
    5. Royal Guard's set, which uses the Royal Guard's Sword and a slightly smaller Royal Guard's Shield.
    6. Zora Armour set, which uses the Zora Sword and Shield.
    7. Ancient set, which uses the Ancient Sword and Shield (specifically Robbie's.)
    8. Gerudo set, which would use an original, redesigned rapier slightly similar to Zelda's in Twilight Princess (given that the Scimitar wouldn't work model-wise) and the Gerudo Shield.
What are your thoughts, though? I'm aware that some characters don't really make sense to have alternate models of course, but do you think they should be more common... or less common?
Okay, so people often talk about how certain characters should have gotten their own campaigns in Shovel Knight (my own favourite pick being unequivocally Propeller Knight, who was robbed.) Thing is, nobody talks about how cool a game would be with this guy as the protagonist.

Yeah, Liquid Samurai. A minor, normal enemy found only in one level. See, here's my thinking - the Liquid Samurai would be so interesting in a 2D platformer, with the same basic premise as the Shovel Knight titles, but based more on stealth. After all, a main move it uses is being able to become a blob, sticking to walls and ceilings - so imagine for a moment, playing a game similar to a combination of Mega Man and Shovel Knight where you need to manouvre yourself around as stealthily as possible, taking out enemies by sniping them with your bow or slashing them in close quarters with your blade. Not only that - you could learn how to create different weapons over time too, or even do things like splitting yourself into copies and the like. I mean not only that, but the whole stealth aspect isn't usually tapped into with platformers, and the idea of his animations tapping into liquid... bliss. It'd be especially cool if he can also do stuff like running up walls or along ceilings in chase sequences or something of the like! The possibilities would be endless!

Thanks Meta. It's really nice to see that our future will be so bright, colourful, and hopeful. Life was so hard for me when I was an animatronic dog, who fell into disrepair, got tossed into the side of the road, and almost crushed in a hydraulic press. I feel so grateful to Meta for providing the opportunity for me to improve my life by refusing to acknowledge it and simply falling deeper and deeper into the spiral that is the modern world of technology. Thank you, Meta.
Hey y'all, happy Valentine's Day. I'd like to take this opportunity to tell y'all something that, well, not enough people spread the message of. Sure, spread the love today - but be sure to give yourself some love too. Even if you just make it a one day thing, treat yourself somehow. I'm not really one to put a lot of stock in inspirational quotes, but I think this one applies.

"Everyday, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan for it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot black coffee." - Dale Cooper

Even if you're not sharing the day with someone else for whatever reason, give yourself a lil love. You deserve it. :)
This might seem like a random status but one thing I've always quite liked to do is make bizarre and unusual concepts for songs that, sometimes, I end up making. Here's some of my personal favourites I'm in the process of doing:

    • A song about how annoying it is when people in Manchester keep playing Wonderwall by Oasis
    • A song about a horrified small child realising for the first time that Elmo is, in fact, a puppet
    • A song about the process of writing a song, albeit with no inspiration
    • A song about explaining the minutae of British life to a progressively more confused/peturbed friend from the US
    • A song about waiting for a bus, but waiting for so long that you literally become a local monument
    • A song about a detailed conspiracy about same bin constantly being set on fire by different people
    • A song about making lists of things for no real reason other than to peturb the moderators
    • A song about falling down the stairs but then it takes far too long to fall down the stairs, like, since when were they so long
    • A song about that one friend everyone has who unironically eats lemons
    • A song about the process of dipping chocolate digestives in a cup of tea with two sugars and slightly too much milk
The more I look into Elvis, the more bizarre he seems to become somehow. For instance:

Elvis was a black belt in karate, and once met Alice Cooper, handed him a handgun, and told him to shoot him (as a sort of demonstration as the pair were in a conversation.) Alice doesn't even get to pull the trigger before Elvis does a flying kick and knocks the gun out of Cooper's hand.

Also, he'd almost always ask the local chief of police when doing tours to become an honorary sheriff, then he'd literally go around in one of his Cadillacs and search for crime to stop. He'd stopped people speeding a few times, but there's a few notable instances of him literally beating people down because they were attacking others. Also like, he'd often respond to traffic calls in Memphis before the police did on one of his motorcycles.

A small part of me is beginning to wonder if Elvis was even real, like, he seems like some sort of urban legend at this point.
Open question - do y'all think that Kirby Fighters 2 should have focused on the various Kirby copy abilities as characters, or the various helpers from across the series? Personally, though this is just me, I'd love to have seen various helpers and enemies and such playable...
Can you please stop Likebombing me? I really don't like it, and much prefer sincere likes that say "I agree with this" rather than "I respect this"
This might sound random, but hear me out... the architecture of the sports centre that Switch Sports is set in is so nice.

Like, I genuinely wish that more places in general were designed like this. Wide, open spaces in which you can socialise, plenty of greenery and natural light, and a multi-layered design that's still open due to it not being simply stacked on itself. Lowkey, the library and cafe that you catch a couple glimpses of in the background of the Badminton game looks like somewhere I'd love to hang out.

Maybe it's because I'm British and we don't really get leisure centres like this because the best way to keep teenagers occupied according to our government is by removing anything for them to do and then arresting them when they do something wrong and taking the piss out of them when they don't do anything because all of the other ones are outside, stood doing nothing in particular, because there's nothing to do, and then getting arrested for loitering or setting fire to bins or something. But that's unrelated.

The centre just looks... weirdly appealing. Like a place I'd genuinely want to hang out at. I gotta say, I'm surprised that so much thought went into what's essentially set dressing, but I adore it.
I come from the distant future of 2083. Mario Kart 8 is still alive... it's become sentient. It's taking over the world with features such as quadruple item boxes, more tracks than there are molecules in the observable universe, and a name with so many additions that it's orders of magnitude longer than the Bible. I've escaped into the past to warn you of what is to come... take action before it's too late. The end of the world comes on 12th April 2080. Good luck.
A bizarre thing I never hear people mention is the fact that art theft is, practically, the most illogical type of theft.

(I'd also like to take a moment to clarify, I'm not promoting art theft or, well, crime of any type. I just found myself intrigued. This happens a lot. I also don't live in France, this will become important in a moment.)

Consider it in terms of practicality for a moment - I'm going to use the Mona Lisa as an example as it's very well known. Let's take a look at what we can do here!

To begin with - the version actually shown in the public is probably a copy. It's known that the original is indeed owned by the Louvre, but theories suggest that they tend to display copies because of the fact that, well, it's a one-of-a-kind art piece that's literally the most famous painting in the world. I can't say this for certain, though, so let's presume for the sake of argument that they're displaying the original.

Problem two. As you can see, it's in an climate-controlled, bulletproof, airtight glass box. You're very, very unlikely to be able to even open the box in question, because it'll take time - time that you won't have. The room's filled with cameras, and a constant patrol of guards (the Louvre has around 1,200 security guards, so you're going to have to bring a small militia of your own if you want to handle them with a more violent tactic.)

Let's say you've got the painting in your hands and you've just stepped outside of the Louvre. Now, given the amount of surveillance we're talking here (and we're presuming for the sake of argument that you're planning to steal, not destroy, it,) the Louvre know you have the Mona Lisa. This means the police are around, and that includes helicopters and likely armed guards. Sure, they don't want to damage the painting, but you're not likely to get out... so let's hypothesise that you have like, a drag car or something and you've somehow, by some miracle, evaded much of the Parisian police force.

...see, this is where the practical problems really start. See, you have in your hands a work of art that's worth approximately $860,000,000 today (taking into account inflation and presuming the value estimated in 1964 hasn't changed.) Notably, however, it's one of a kind. If you want to make money, you're in a pickle. Compare this to, for instance, stealing a car - change the registration plates, and very few people would be unwilling to buy it unless you looked really shifty or something. However... art theft poses a problem.

You're not likely to be able to sell it to a congolmerate, so we're talking selling it to a billionaire here (even if you sell it at a lower price, we're talking someone who's worth is in the millions.) The black market isn't an option - it's not airtight, and besides, such high numbers would set off red flags with Interpol (or any other organisation you're talking.) That means you'll need to make a physical, cash-in-hand transaction, but let's be honest - they're easily intercepted. It's an individual, irreplacable object, meaning there's only one instance of it. Copies would easily be worked out - the method by which Da Vinci's brushstrokes were used are the equivalent to basic division for the average art buff.

You're going to be in possession of an object that you cannot let anyone know exists in your possession, and any attempt to sell it or even pass it on will almost definately be used against you - the risk factor is too high compared to the reward that either the Louvre, Interpol, or any other interested folks, would offer in return. It's not as simple as Nicholas Cage would have you believe.

The thing is, art theft is just... illogical. You'd be better off stealing nearly anything else, purely in terms of practicality. I think the reason art theft is such an appealing concept is simply due to the nature of what it represents - a combination of intelligence, meticulous planning, and off-the-cuff thinking. The nature of art theft isn't so much about the theft, but about the art - the theft in itself becomes an artform of it's own. After all, the level of difficulty in preparing for every concieable permutation of events is incredible!

And, well, clearly I'm not the only one who takes an interest. The concept of the Gentleman Thief has been around for decades - one of the earliest examples being Arsene Lupin, a direct inspiration behind beloved series like Lupin the Third, Persona 5, the original Pink Panther, and then even concepts of similar real-life individuals still acting as sources of intrigue, such as Willie Sutton, Black Bart or "D.B. Cooper." I feel that the concept of introducing a sense of chivalry and flair to such a brutish thing as theft is a reflection of style in its purest form - giving a truly unique look at what would otherwise be a terrifying reality of our world. I'll say this much - a good heist will always be a truly intriguing thing, regardless of the morality of it.

I wouldn't deny that art theft is possible - the nature of what it is makes it very possible, as seen relatively recently in the grand scheme of things with the 2001 Stockholm heist where a team stole three works by Rembrandt and Renoir from the National Museum. The problem is, it's very difficult to pull off (always has been to be honest,) but now more than ever, a lot of things have to line up flawlessly (as you mentioned with contingencies.) The thing is, though:

    1. Even being highly skilled in theft wouldn't help you in a situation like this. Most theft is in significantly quieter places, and whilst you could argue "just scale up the experience!" it's nowhere near as easy. For instance, getting someone on the inside of the Louvre would be intensely difficult - even if the owner of the whole place was in on it, someone would likely whistleblow. Bear in mind, the Louvre has around 2,290 staff members, 1200 of which are security. You need to ensure not one of them suspects something - sure, not all of them will be guarding the Mona Lisa specifically, but still.

    2. Being said highly skilled art thief puts a target on your back. If you're well-known enough to be hired, to have a buyer in place, or you have a contact who would almost certainly be through the black market, well, the world of crime isn't airtight. Sure, you could try and pull an Al Capone, leaving no evidence - but how would you handle it? Being said incredibly skilled art thief would make you a very interesting target for law enforcement - I'm sure Interpol would wish to remove the King from the board as soon as possible.

I'm more so postulating the practicality of it, though. It's possible... but very, very difficult.
Y'know, people joke a lot about the UK, but as much as the common external conception is of us sipping tea whilst looking like we stepped out of a René Magritte painting is common, I'd like to take this opportunity to pull back the curtain.

I was on the bus on my way home from college this evening, with around 60 seats capacity on the top floor of the bus (being that it's a double decker, but ironically it's blue, because I live in the north.) I have arrived in the top floor, and I manage to sit down. Allow me to attempt to paint the scene.

You can barely see three feet in front of you, as the air is filled with vape juice. Your ears are full, ringing, with around a hundred twelve year olds screaming "Suuuuuu" in reference to the footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, in between taking huge huffs of strawberry juice for a solid 30 seconds at a time. Many of them don't know who he is, as they flick between increasingly nonsensical TikToks on their phones - worth more than most of the contents of their homes. The almost cult-like screaming is enhanced by the sound of grime music being played at around the same level as the average jet engine, and you can hardly hear the ringing in your ears. The windows are steamed up, all of them having phallic objects drawn on them as well as the occasional smiley face. The seat in front of you is coated in phone numbers offering... shall we say "not above board" favours, as well as the occasional slander of people you don't know.

The only things you can see around you aside from the seats are what looks like a sea of black, poofy jackets wrapped around 4 foot tall children, all of which look like they came off a production line with their curly hair on only the top of their heads and compete lack of eyebrows. The back of the bus is where you see the 13/14 year olds, and as you move further back in the bus, the number of hate symbols scrawled onto the windows and seating increases exponentially. Every single stop has what seems to be around 10 more of these... beings step onto the bus. The driver groans as the suspension does the same, trying desperately to hold around double its intended capacity of small, loud beings as they spew smoke into the air.

It begins to rain as you arrive at your stop. Clambering through, and in many cases over, the creatures filling the bus far beyond intended limits, you squeeze out of the doors. You check your pockets... your phone is gone, and you don't know whether it was pickpocketed or simply fell out within the chaos. The rain is falling harder now, and you find a tear on the arm of your coat... it was your favourite coat, once upon a time, and yet now it is coated in a layer of the same dirt that coats every surface in your estate. You'd buy a new coat, but it'd be too expensive.

The road is busy, filled with underage drivers racing along and schoolchildren trying to survive the process of getting home. You manage to get to your house. Someone's dumped furniture in your front garden again. You try to ignore it as a rat crawls out, and your home is cold, uninviting. You slide off your trainers, the only shoes you own, as you step into the kitchen - a simple, prefabricated affair built in bulk some 50 years ago. You turn on the kettle, reaching up into the cupboard to get a mug. The cupboard door falls off, like it always did. You take the Sports Direct mug you own, with a chip within it, filling it with a Yorkshire Tea teabag and a spoonful of slightly off-tasting sugar. You pull out the milk. It's off. You throw it in the bin outside, and now it's pouring, as you step back inside, dripping wet. Your tea doesn't have milk, but you drink it anyway.

You need to make something to eat. Opening your cupboard once more, you find little more than slightly stale bread and a line of tins, mostly beans. You know you can't afford a takeout tonight, so you reach inside, pulling out a tin of minced beef, spreading it on the bread and sitting in the slightly damp sofa. Taking a bite, a single tear leaves your eye as you overhear your neighbours screaming about getting a divorce for the 12th time this week. The television flicks on with a flick of the remote, as politicians explain taxes are increasing again... it turns off. The electricity got shut off, and now you need to go to the corner shop to turn it back on again.

Half-finishing your delectable meal, you slip your shoes on once more, grabbing a month-old copy of the Sun and using it as a makeshift umbrella. The rain seems to melt it into mush, as you step inside the corner shop, filled with people as grey as you are. One of the creatures from the buses rushes out with a vape he stole, but the shop owners don't stop him. You stand in line, and minutes, hours pass. Everyone's talking, saying the same things, asking about the weather, about pets, or family, or the news, or the sports. Your legs tire... you've spent the day at work, slaving away packing boxes for 10 straight hours. You don't need this. After an agonisingly long time, you get to the front... the price they're asking for is more than it was last week. You're a few pounds short. They turn you away.

As you shamble home, you pass a bin, overflowing... it hasn't been collected in months. Even stepping near it startles the overweight, waddling rats that scurry away into the cracks of the homes and the grates of the sewers nearby. You feel empty, but nothing changed. Everything's grey, the skies, the ground, your home... and you know it'll be the same tomorrow.
You know nothing of Luigi... not the way I know him. I live and breath Luigi. All you could ever hope is that he would spit in your general direction. We went to school together, grew up together... you don't know his struggles. Did you even know he got a doctorate in medicine? Dr. Luigi is real - so-called "Super" Mario? He's just a petty cosplayer with medical direction from his own brother. You unlocked him in Galaxy? He only joined because he chose to, not like Mario. Luigi's intelligent, he's rich, and he's truly the better brother. Every year is the year of Luigi, and you'll never understand, you just don't get it. Luigi never dies.

I can't wait for Windows 12! After all, having the all new, unique function of Bill Gates personally reaching through my screen and taking a good sniff of my unwashed laundry is clearly only for my safety and security, and will be very important to ensure that the people I care about are safe and secure. I think that I and everyone around me should pay Microsoft in order to upgrade all of their compatible machines to Windows 12, in order to preserve their safety and security.
Y'know, something just occurred to me that might be a little weird to some people but hear me out. I was reading a comment section a couple days ago in, of all things, an upload of the OST to the game Undertale. I don't remember exactly what it read, but here's what I recall.

"One day, I'm going to tell the story of Undertale to my kids."

...I'll admit I've never played it. To be honest, I was only looking for one particular song for a ****posty mashup. Thing is, that kinda resonated with me in a weird way. It's... kinda surreal, somehow, imagining that one day, that story will be passed on, from child to child over the dim orange light of bedtime, those characters we all laughed at here on the internet living in the pure, wild imagination of a toddler some day in the distant future - without any context to where the story began, and changed like a game of Chinese Whispers as time passes and memory fades... but the heart of the story's still there regardless, still remembered at least in disparate parts by someone born long after we've all turned to dust.

...I don't know why, but I found that idea really touching. Maybe the concept of immortality isn't something we should be trying to achieve in life, but rather in our ideas, our stories, our minds. The things we create will always outlive us, and whilst they might be gone like us one day... they'll always exist in some way or another.

Don't stop creating stuff, y'all. No matter how random, stupid, or hare-brained, someone will remember it as a good thing even if you don't. Sorry for the whole deep introspection stuff in the profile posts, by the way - it's just a funny thing that was on my mind right now. Keep safe, y'all. :)
    Hey, KneeOfJustice99!
I sent you a friend request on Discord.
Here's a random question - if you could pick any character that Nintendo owns... most of the rights to, to get an Amiibo, which one do you choose?

My own personal choice would have to be the Starman, from EarthBound. It could be in the same silver as that silver Mario we got a while back! The only issue is, I'm not really sure what effects it'd have in games. (Except maybe a secret Starman boss fight in Deltarune which quietly references Game Theory throughout, maybe?) or maybe this is just a cry for some sort of EarthBound remake... wait a second. Would Mother work in a similar artstyle to Link's Awakening, or maybe in a slightly analogous engine? Ech, I'm pontificating.
I finally got around to watching The Curse of Fatal Death, and I will stand by what I have always said - Rowan Atkinson would be an amazing Doctor in the main series. I can imagine the Blackadder-esque nature of his Doctor would be interesting to see, and it'd really differentiate him from the whole Mr. Bean situation.
There's a small part of me that wants to make a really, really low-budget internet radio station with the single most bizarre stuff you'll find that has absolutely nothing to do with each other. Like, one day you'll tune in to a BBC Radio 4 style documentary about the development of Donkey Kong 64, the next day it's just the Family Guy theme on loop for several hours, and the next it's an [adult swim] takeover.

Y'know on that, I feel like an [adult swim] radio station would be pretty cool!
I feel like an honestly underrated concept for a fighting game of some sort is one that uses various characters in the Public Domain. Like, who wouldn't want to team up classics like Sherlock Holmes, Arsene Lupin, Zorro, Abraham Van Helsing and Captain Nemo against villains like Dorian Gray, Frankenstein's Monster and Mr Hyde? Who wouldn't want a clash between Jesus and Cthulhu, or a battle of interstellar proportions between the Martians of The War of the Worlds and (if you're Canadian,) James Bond?

It just seems like an ocean of weirdly rarely tapped potential, aside from examples like Dynamite Comics' use of Golden Age, public domain superheroes, and Alan Moore's League of Extraordinary Gentlement.

Here's a concept I had - what if Captain Nemo (originating from Jules Verne's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea) were to fight in a large, Victorian-era diving suit, using various nautical pieces of equipment and weaponry (as varied as a harpoon gun for a long range attack, to the use of a large anchor as some sort of powerful smash) were to come to pass? I feel like it could be incredibly fun - especially if the Nautilus were to be implemented maybe as a finisher move or something by firing a barrage of torpedoes toward opponents.

What ideas do you have, though? I mean, there's a lot of untapped potential here. Go wild!
I'm finally, after a few years of procrastination, watching Twin Peaks. I'm, needless to say, excited. :D
Never occurred to me that universities handle interviews through Discord of all places nowadays. To be honest, I say this coming from a Sixth Form where our only online correspondence is a semi-functioning Google Classroom we made ourselves and an email chain we managed to connect ourselves to that's intended for announcements to parents. They actually still give physical letters for nearly everything as opposed to emails, it's kinda weird.

Long story short I managed to finally get my alt set up, so now I wait for the interview itself on the 28th Feb. I do need to pick up a webcam, but I might do that tomorrow... and maybe a green bedsheet to use as a green-screen too.

I'm horribly excited about it so hopefully it all goes well! It's for a course in Games Design, which is something I've always been interested in. Just, well, 🤞
I know this seems like a hot take, but is it just me who was really hoping for Neku Sakuraba to make it in during DLC Fighter's Pass 2?... not to sound salty, because I loved Sephiroth's inclusion, but I would personally have preferred to see Neku - especially considering that TWEWY was getting an anime and a sequel at the time, making him more relevant then than ever before or likely after...

Even so, I'm pleased to see Sephiroth, as I do agree Final Fantasy needed more content.
Hey y'all! Not to sound like I'm shilling or something of the like, but I'd just like to give a shoutout to a thread for a moment. Known as Dimensional Junction, it's a tournament similar to SiivaGunner's King for Another Day Tournament, though in this case with its own unique spin - that is, it's set in a mysterious hotel in a rift between dimensions! Each character in the tournament has a collection of unique musical sources that they can use in mashups, to be crowned the winner!

We're currently (as of right now!) in the process of submitting the seventh character for the tourney, with the stipulation that it be a post-2015 character! However, we're totally open for your ideas and suggestions - so feel free to drop in!

Sorry to waste y'all's time with a glorified advert, but it's a really cool thread to be in - and I hope y'all find it awesome!
    Hey KneeOfJustice99!
You know, I came up with Idea that Mach Rider being a "Dimensional junction" contestant.

Depending on who else gets submitted alongside him I think I could be motivated to vote for this one tbh.

And for the record, I don’t think your submissions have been bad, I just haven’t voted for any of them because I felt like too many of them have been either too similar to someone from KFAD (like the Sega duo) or SiIva in general (the Flintstones team)…and on the other instances I honestly just got distracted by ideas that personally appealed to me more. Still, I do honestly hope you can get at least one of your submissions into the cast!

I'm with Torgo here. You've actually had a ton of pretty cool ideas, and I think it might be a good idea for you to really let loose and experiment (in the nicest possible way!) Besides, yours might get in during the resubmission phase 🤔

    I understand.
    Thanks, Torgo.
    And thanks KneeOfJustice99.
God, I loved the Wii music. Not Wii Music, the music of the Wii itself. All the channels are just so... calming. Maybe that's just Mii though.
