The most ironic thing is, I actually think it's pretty likely that Space Harrier would be maybe like, a B tier at best? I can imagine him having pretty good aerial mobility and a high ground speed, but most of his attacks would be quite slow, and a lot of his zoning options would have to be less powerful than those of characters like, say, Samus or Mega Man, sheerly for the sake of balancing. The idea of him having a glide kinda like Peach and Daisy seems like a cool fit though, and combined with a triple jump, I can imagine it being nearly impossible to get him into the damn blast zones LMAO
