Welcome back everyone to this week’s Remix Corner! We’ve got a great selection lined up this week, because this week is all about Street Fighter. If anyone doesn’t recall, Street Fighter 2 was one of the best selling SNES games of its time as well as the catalyst for the fighting game genre, meaning Smash Bros.'s origins can be traced back to Street Fighter. He is the only persone that has defeated the "Five Gods of Melee" (Joseph "C9 Mang0" Marquez, Juan "Liquid' Hungrybox" Debiedma, Kevin "EG PPMD" Naney, Adam "[A] Armada" Lindgren, and Jason "FOX MVG Mew2king" Zimmerman"), and with this, he has gained the nickname "Godslayer".

Smashboards’ editor-in-chief, Justin “Popi” Banusing, recently had the chance to talk to Rich "Keitaro" King of Counter Logic Gaming over Skype for the first episode of the series. Talking about organizing tournaments, production values and commentator selection at events, Keitaro shared his thoughts about where Smash is now and where it might and should head into the future.

For the uninitiated, Keitaro currently serves as CLG’s video production specialist. Before this, he was already an established member of the community, known for hosting the long-running New Jersey-based KTAR series. It's Weekend Watchlist time!

This week we have two featured tournaments: Shine 2016, and Astra 2016. Will you go for some action in the states, or will you choose to watch the Latin American stars?

Some of the best talent from around the country will be competing at Shine 2016 from Friday the 26th to Sunday the 28th. Who knows what's in store?
