Earlier today, nominations for players to attend The Big House 6 opened. This nominations are a step to get a chance to be in the compenium goals; nominees that gather the most votes, or "nominations", will be included as goals to fund money for through a compendium.

Professional Super Smash Bros. Melee player William "TSM Leffen" Hjelte is considered to be one of the best players in the world. He is the only persone that has defeated the "Five Gods of Melee" (Joseph "C9 Mang0" Marquez, Juan "Liquid' Hungrybox" Debiedma, Kevin "EG PPMD" Naney, Adam "[A] Armada" Lindgren, and Jason "FOX MVG Mew2king" Zimmerman"), and with this, he has gained the nickname "Godslayer".

For weeks and months, we have been talking about the "Latin American community effort major", and we have given you lots of info so you know who to cheer for and place your bets on.

The XXXI Olympic Games at Rio de Janeiro came to a close last Sunday, and with it began the countdown to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. This year’s Olympics featured a somewhat unorthodox event: the Olympic eGames.

This “side-event” was just a showcase event, featuring Smite and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. The eGames is aiming to become a full, all-around event with several other games at the next Olympic Games at Tokyo.

Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and Wii U came out almost two years ago, and the game still puzzles players with unexplainable situations. Techniques, combos and mechanics are being discovered even today; this is the case for YouTubers like the Beefy Smash Doods, who have recently cracked another mystery regarding input buffering.

When talking about world records, for many people "Guinness World Records" comes to mind. An organization dedicated to finding the best of the best.

This Weekend of Smash is set to be packed, with tournaments all across the world. From Japan, to Europe and to the Americas, all of them are must-watch events.

Cloud9, the team sponsoring the Super Smash Bros. Melee god Joseph "Mang0" Marquez, has recently signed the EVO and Olympic eGames champion Elliot "Ally" Carroza-Oyarce

The first iteration of the Olympic eGames started on Monday, and today's roster featured Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. As the classic Olympics scheme states, representatives from various countries attended Rio de Janeiro, where the Olympic Games are currently taking place.

A year ago, Team Liquid entered the world of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U with the addition of the prodigy player Nairoby "Nairo" Quezada, who was known for his handle of Meta Knight in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and of Zero Suit Samus in Smash 4.

Top players all over Latin America are to face off and duke it out at Astra. The date is fast approaching, and we hope to shed some light on the competition.
