I agree with this whole-heartedly. I am not good at Smash and though I haven't bought him, the times I've used him I haven't done well with him. He still requires a lot of work to master.

I think Ryu and Cloud should be there from the start since they're fairly iconic, but the rest of the dlc characters should be unlockable.

Honestly, seeing how Nairo has used Bowser recently, I don't think he needs buffs, I just think he needs more high skill players to explore the depths of his current potential.

I hope he gets buffed a bit in Smash Switch if that's a reality. No amount of realistic buffs would really make him a high tier character, but it'd still be nice to see him used in tournaments more often.
