Yes. No. It doesn't bother me. It happens all the time and it's how I learn. Let me elaborate on why Donkey Kong is at the top of my list. A person who taught me the basics of the metagame told me that when I'm starting out, I should try a character whose games outside of the Smash Bros...

Shockingly enough, I've lost a lot of my love for Samus in the last few years. I blame Metroid Prime 3 for being a horrible game. EDIT: When I ask for advice, I don't count "don't play Donkey Kong" as advice.

I don't use Facebook, I'm afraid, but I'm aware of the page's existence. I think I've attended one of the Georgia Tech smashfests, but I can't remember any of the names of the people who played with me other than SleepyK. I've been to a few smashfests at differing places over the years, though...

Let's say, hypothetically, that someone has followed competitive Melee for years, tried and failed to break into the scene multiple times, and is aware of most of the game's mechanics. Let's go on to say(hypothetically, once again) that this person has had a really hard time choosing a character...

So I'm going to be in school for the next three years and I'm thinking I might try once again to do this here Melee thing. I'm in Midtown Atlanta and I think SleepyK has met me once or twice.

Vanille is one of my favorite video game characters of all time. I just love everything about her. Then again, I loved Final Fantasy X-2, so I think my brain is on backwards.

Are they the reason why I can't play on Brinstar Depths and Hyrule Temple, too? God! Furries ruin everything! :troll:

I play Samus because her execution barrier is low in comparison to most other characters. Also, I like missiles. Also also, I guess Super Metroid was okay.
