try to play friendlies against falcos... I find them to be the easiest to parry. if a fox is smart he'll just dair shine all day against you and wont give much parry oppurtunity. personally the hardest character to parry consistently is definitely marth, and this balances out a bit with marth's...

ya i just usually dont enjoy playing lame af but you basically have to... it was alot of nickel and dime trades and dacus really worked well for the float anti-air. i took him to ghz game two but he beat me on BF games 1 & 3.

with a mine on a side platform a hard but maybe effective edge guard is a grenade>wd oos onto ledge and a roll back/ get up? If timed right you cover platform, ledge and stage near the ledge.
