Use High Polygon Models for Shadows and when Offscreen

Sure. The low poly files provided actually have very little changed. If you want to make your low poly files have the default high poly on screen, low poly off screen, then you probably just need to do the following: open the the default file you want to revert to, eg the default PlCa.dat get...

Yeah UP's gecko code is a bit more thorough than the character files and works for every costume

i didnt test this in game but it looks correct in smashforge. i think it's what you want. if you need anything else removed let me know yoshis story - no trees on main stage

Perhaps you could use smash forge to find the meshes for the trees, and then 0 out the display list length in DTW as per drgns guide. You can toggle visibility for meshes in smash forge so it should hopefully be clear what you need to blank out

Guide Advanced Costume Hacks (removing model parts and more)

all of this is theoretically possible but pretty tricky and can't be done by simply swapping pointers. im working on somethings at the moment that will be able to help with this but none of it is there yet

High-res vs low-res models in costume files

yeah basically the costume files dont specify which are high and low poly, but it's specified in the character move files, so for falcon it's specified in PlCa.dat here's a dictionary which i havent verified for high and low poly parts highlow_poly_dictionary = {'Boy': ([0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6...

Use High Polygon Models for Shadows and when Offscreen

should work for all versions of 20xx so far like oscat said replacing the 20xx .pat files will work, but the .pat files included in the download are for the pal character files, so if you want the ntsc ones you should rename all the .dat files to be .pat, then replace them :)

Use High Polygon Models for Shadows and when Offscreen

yeah i wonder about that too! i havent had time to test it unfortunately. its also possible to 00000000 out the pointer for the off-screen/shadow model so the game would use the low poly models onscreen and not use any model off-screen or for shadows. i imagine that could help the game run...

    Automatically Add Space to Subactions

hmm not sure tbh, it's compiled with pyinstaller. the google drive link has the python script itself (i think its in the .zip file too) so you could install python and run the script. if you do it like that you might have to paste the paths instead of dragging and dropping, and you might need to...
