As someone who likes a lot of Capcom stuff I don't think a capcom character is happening. The mii costumes tend to overlap with that dlc fighters company so it would've made more sense to have that Capcom character be the latest dlc fighter or wait to use those mii costumes for the capcom character.

Mii swordfighter is actually like 40-50 different characters because their sword looks different in most of the costumes.

Hypothetically if most of the cast had a reasonably different shielding animation except for the pokemon characters it'd be fine to say the Pokemon characters have the worst variety in terms of shielding animation.

And swordies have far more homogeneity than any other type of character. Besides the knives(i dont consider joker a swordie btw) those are just different aesthetics for the most part.
