Dude our melee scene is actually growing for the first time in a couple of years so there is hope yet. Definitely get in contact once you're a little established and you feel like playing, we'll probably have some sort of fest or tournament.

The FGC seems to think it's a waste of time. I would say let's go but like, it's 25 bucks just to get in the door. Especially since there's not even a melee tournament. Idk... might be better off just hosting a fest that weekend. If everyone else is down though, hell, I'll go.

That sounds pretty fun actually, but I'm not sure if there will be enough people at this tournament for it to be worth traveling to. If there is going to be a decent amount of local talent there, then I'm down (pending me checking my schedule to make sure I won't have boatloads of homework).
