    Honestly, I don't think the pic of the day quote should me treated as official as the reasoning for villager not being in brawl. I'm pretty sure it was more of a in-character jab at waluigi, since most of his trophies mention him being a hardworker.

    After reading a lot of the rate their chances, there is something I really don't get. How does being an assist trophy hurt waluigi chances? It reminds of everybody saying that Ike and Lucario where going to be cut, because some made up rule.

    Waluigi chance: 70% Consistently shows up in games, and is popular. Most mock smash ballots I have seen had him pretty high, even though he already an assist trophy in Smash 4. The only competition is toad and other spin-off characters. Only argument people bring up is he only appeared in spin...

    I am really against the idea of banning things to make games more fun. Bans never look good from the outside looking in. Bans make it harder for casuals to transfer to competitive.

    Pokkén Tournament They said no plans for DLC, but what if we are getting Character updates?

    Hitmonchan- Very quick boxer type like dudley from street fighter, Can probably do fancy stuff with elemental punches. Should have a good combo game. Burst mode: just make it a really cool punch. Any punch super will work. Regigigas- A massive behemoth, that could play similarly to Aganos...
