I short hop nair with the stick, but i can't do it with some controllers. A lot of people use y/x + z also.

Do you have any problem doing your techskill vs cpus when you're awake? If not, you'd better refine it with some additional hours of play. I think consistency with tech skill is just a matter of knowing what you're capable of (which comes with a lot training) together with a matter of nerves...

The reason why he loses to spacies and sheik are still there. It's not like NTSC falcon gets killed a lot by fox's usmash anyway, and chaingrabbing him with sheik is still easy as pie. Also gentleman, despite being a good move, isn't broken by any means of course.

May be a stupid question but do you guys use your tournament controller for practicing at home? I've recently bought a new one and I'm afraid the stick may deteriorate or something lol

Imho the best way is getting used to short hopping with the control stick. Also comes in handy when playing fox and falco for jump-cancelling the shine as soon as possible. And obviously getting frame perfect aerials out of shield in general. Also SHDLs with fox if you're into that kind of stuff.

They don't. Usmash requires addictional percent because its knockback is weaker. Marth may die earlier from fox's uair, though, since he's a bit lighter.

Not that CCing is the easiest thing in the world anyway. You have to know when it's the best option.

Are you sure it starts from 0%? I spent some time in training mode and I seem to have problems regrabbing Falco (dunno about Fox) if he DIs away below like 20%, mainly because dashing backwards and then grabbing seems slower than dashing forward and then grabbing, for some reason.

Unless the other person is someone I could 3stock while having a cup of tea, I just play to learn, which means I focus on not getting hit and think a lot about my opponent's moves. Also risky reads and amazing kills sometimes.
