My original main was Toon Link. He still is really but I use Marth as well.

You will find that most people play with GC controllers... Especially if they've played the previous versions of Smash. So yeah I use a GC pad.

The timing to cancel Pit's arrows is pretty hard, plus It's not really a good option to cancel an arrow with an utilt cos the Pit can continue to spam uncharged arrows during ending lag.

I use R to shield it just feels most comfortable. I tried to use L for shield but it just didn't work out too well. Now I've set L to special even though I don't use it. Mighta used it once though...

What are some good ways to approach a Pit who camps with arrow spam? And when I do come in close and he gets a few hits in it's back to camp and arrow spam. Any help?

It's a lot of fun and there are more characters than Melee as well. The whole concept of Smash is what I really like. Great game.
