I absolutely agree with this sentiment, although I think it's a two way streak. Leakers who hype up fans and fans who hype themselves up.

Getting hyped as hell and frothing at the mouth sounds like fault of the consumer, not the leaker.

This should honestly be proof enough that putting leakers on some sort of pedestal is a terrible idea because plans change both internally at Nintendo all the time and by marketers, ESPECIALLY in something related to third parties. In the end, Nintendo doesn't have anything to show the public...

I really do wish the Geno discussion was a bit less intense than it is now. He's a cool character and it feel like he's trapped between a rock and a hard place discussion-wise.
