Just beat Zelda 1! I really loved this one. Pretty proud of the fact I used very little guides (only to find where the power bracelet was and how to not get lost in the final dungeon) I liked how challenging this was. I died on dungeons 6, 8, and 9 so many times but it was so satisfying...

Thats interesting, in January I literally wrote down the same thing. The only Zelda game I've truly beaten is Ocarina of Time, and I also really want to play through every main Zelda this year. Good on you for already tackling Zelda 1! I should probably get on that soon.

Well that's unfortunate since he just had his best performance since pre-COVID. And I'm not saying that he wouldn't have won if it wasn't for the iBDW session, but I think it helped.

Just played a few matches and the AI improvements are immediately noticeable. Great work! I didn't notice any flaws or anything really worth noting at this point, but I'll be sure to let you know if I see anything weird with the CPU's. Love the CSS update too!

Well someone's not an ibdw fan LOL. I saw it mainly as beneficial to people who were experiencing roadblocks or not enjoying playing online as much, from the perspective of someone who's had a lot of success playing online. Hbox's situation is different because he's having a lot of success...

Anybody else watch those iBDW/Hbox online friendlies where they go into really great detail about mentality and playing online? 1 2 3 4 What're your guys' thoughts on it? I think it's great stuff to see what is in the mind of top players dealing with this new format in two contrasting ways.

I get it can be annoying to see it spammed but you have to understand this is really not normal for a company to be this aggressive in shutting down its own supporters. You don't hear stories about Xbox shutting down Halo tournaments, Valve banning mods from being publicized, or Riot not...

Thats.... not even remotely close to the reason why. Nintendo has always been anti competition, and against other people forming competitive communities from smash. Throwing the blame for all of Nintendo's wrongdoings on the community's effort to expose predators is just straight up wrong.
