    It's 18*sin²(x), where x is the angle at which you hold the analog stick in relation to the launch trajectory. 18*sin(90)*sin(90) = 18, so that would be perpendicular DI.

    Powershields

    You have to quickly press the triggers completely in to powershield. The first 2 shield frames reflect projectiles, the first 4 frames powershield attacks. If you're pressing a trigger too slowly, you won't be able to powershield.

    All of this is basically right except that the glitch activates when you jump out of the slide, that occurs when you hit someone's shield. If the slide duration is longer than the ending lag duration, you can activate ICG yourself by jumping. Otherwise, someone can activate it for you when they...

    What about Fox's Jab to Upsmash? Would that be a good situation to V-Cancel? I'm unsure if you can V-Cancel out of hitstun states, if you are already fully actionable - you can at least airdodge out of them without jumping, although you could always just buffer a jump in hitstun anyway.

    You can only use it when you're airborne, not attacking and not in hitstun. I believe it doesn't work in float as well.

    I made a gyfcat real quick. When Marth changes his state from DamageFlyN to DamageFall, he's out of hitstun. With and without SDI enter DamageFall at the same frame, so it doesn't reduce hitstun.
