  • Platform Cancelling:

How to perform: Requires a moving thin platform(the kind you can fall through). Wen u hop thru the thin platform flick down the control stick and use an aeriel at the moment you go through the thin platform.

What it does: Makes you immediately land on the thin platform instead of having to go through the platform and have to fall back down onto it.
    Stupid 420 character rule.

Playing against cpus isn't all bad because you practice your SDI and DI.

I had alot more that I was going to tell you here, but the rule screwed that up. You should watch the videos from VGBootcamp called Metagame Minute, they teach you alot about ATs. Question. Do you know what platform cancelling is?

No. What is platform canceling? I play more melee and PM than brawl but I want to get into it too so I want to know a bit
I practice alone all the time, so I can help you with this. Don't use cpu lv9s much, they make you have bad habits do to their predictable behaviours. Do you know about the move decay mechanic? Training mode doesn't have it, instead have another controller active and play on Brawl or Special Brawl(So nothing is recorded) and have it be a normal brawl(LOL). That is what I do.
I have no idea what being friends with you via Smashboards means exactly. If you want advice for Smash, I would be happy to give it to you.

I don't know what it means either. Can you give me some tips on practicing alone?
