Smash 3DS The unofficial "What's your Win/Loss ratio?" Thread!

Mine is currently atrocious; in my more recent matches, I've either been edging out victories or getting the opponent to around kill percentages before taking one hit too many (usually the latter).

Smash 3DS Are you interested in getting a GameTech grip?

I'd definitely get a 3DS orig one; my hands cramp when I play Smash for long periods of time. A grip like that would be an absolute godsend.

Social Jigglypuff Social Thread (read first post!)

I was playing a match against the CPUs earlier today, and found a bug with Puff. I can't remember the circumstances leading up to it (and I didn't save the replay, aaugh!), but it was Puff dittos against a random CPU, and I got a rest that killed. When the CPU Puff spawned back in, she had 60%...

Your Most Epic Moment While Playing A Game

TL;DR big battle pew pew pew dakka dakka enough salt to fill the oceans Planetside 2, during the Mattherson vs Waterson Server Smash. For those who don't know PS2, it's an MMOFPS with hundreds upon hundreds of players fighting concurrently across land and air on four "continents." Sony Online...

Got a new PS3: Stupid move?

When you decide to upgrade to a current-gen system, may I recommend purchasing/building a PC, or purchasing a Steam Machine? The initial hardware cost does tend to be a bit higher than a console (with carefully chosen parts, a good gaming PC can be had for ~$500, though the price/performance...

Event - Nintendo Of America 2014 Qualifier - New York, NY Discussion (Nintendo World)

Gonna try to make it. I have little doubt that I'll be massacred, but hey, it'll be fun!

Smash 3DS Is your 3DS in good condition?

It's just like how you'd do it with a DS or a Wii U stylus; on the top of the stylus is a little nub. The bit of plastic it's connected to is a sort of bridge from the top to the bottom of the head of the stylus; nudge something thin and relatively sturdy underneath that plastic and push it out...

Smash 3DS Is your 3DS in good condition?

My ambassador, launch week 3DS is still in very good condition; the original stylus isn't staying in the holder as well as it used to (easily fixable) and there are some annoying dots of dirt on the upper screen that require more force than I'm comfortable using to remove them, but otherwise...

    Smash 3DS SSB3D Disappointments Thread

Blast lines are so far away, but that's already been said. No CPP support, which I'm kinda surprised about RIP Princess Puff And of course, the biggest disappointment thus far:

Smash 3DS Who will you main: 2DS, 3DS or 3DS XL?

Looking at it technically, it's just a matter of how small each pixel is. Both versions of the 3DS have the same amount of pixels per screen (800x240 for the top screen, I think), but since the XL has a larger screen, each individual pixel is larger, which has the end effect of creating more...

Smash 3DS Who will you main: 2DS, 3DS or 3DS XL?

Probably gonna stay with my Ambassador 3DS; the XL is nice but I don't think I can justify the cost for one game.

    Physical or Digital?

Physical for me; I would rather not wait for a download to complete over the eShop servers (which likely would melt under Smash 4's load).

Mostly casual Smasher looking to become more competitive

Hey all I'm TheAppleFreak, a 19 year old guy from good ol' NYC. Primarily, I'm a PC gaming enthusiast who probably spends too much time on Reddit, but I love me some Smash. I've been playing Brawl casually since 2008 or so, but it wasn't until about last year that I began watching Smash more...
