    R.O.B Stage Discussion. Currently Retrospecting!

Anyone who likes Battlefield over Town & City is a dumbass. This stage provides you what you get from that level with none of the drawbacks of that level so just...please stop going to battlefield.

Changes to R.O.B. in v. 1.0.8 Balance Patch?

Our uthrow was found. Charizard stole it.

Love all the people who seem to think sliding with a special was unique to their character.

The blast zones ARE different between the two different versions.

Can confirm the Charizard throw changes: dthrow does WAY less KB (is now a combo throw) and Uthrow does much more KB, now being a kill throw.

    R.O.B. Matchup Analysis #21 - Little Mac

It can actually still kill at that very last hit, but it is seriously only like 1 or 2 active frames of the attack so a slight hop will dodge it without making you vulnerable every time.

    Doubles advice for ROB

My advice is play a different character. If you really want to play ROB in doubles, I recommend partners with high mobility or the ability to capitalize off of laser very easily even if they happen to get hit by it (Yoshi, Wario, Sheik, Falcon and that lot). If you are stuck with something less...

    R.O.B. Matchup Analysis #21 - Little Mac

Addendum: Mac CAN usmash through the smashville platform, but the spacing on it is much more difficult than on battlefield (its a very very small portion at the tip of the move) so be aware of that if referring to my previous post.

High Speed Burner. I kind of think that it is the best recovery option by far in 100% of matchups. The unprecedented maneuverability and speed makes it so hard for characters who used to frame trap our recovery to do anything to stop us from returning to the ledge. We simply move right around...

    R.O.B Stage Discussion. Currently Retrospecting!

My tournament life has become so much easier since I started banning battlefield and using the custom up B. The freedom of movement has been a godsend and not ever having to worry about the platform traps at the ledge is fantastic. **** killing sooner with upthrow. Our platform game is garbage...

Fox can fast fall his fair so that it misses its last hit. The hit before that has a spiking hitbox. If you don't tech this, Fox can follow up immediately with an ftilt to set up a lock. You dont actually have to footstool, but the footstool makes it untechable (it just cant be done at as many...

Zeton is still Fox, Shaky mains Ness and Pikachu, Mr. Doom was Koopaling but now plays exclusively Yoshi and just took 8th in a major over the weekend. Yeah, Zeton's Fox is pretty ridiculous. He will combo into the spiking Fair pretty much every time he ever hit you at low to mid percent. I...

    R.O.B. Matchup Analysis #22 - Duck Hunt

60:40 ROB DH needs customs or he loses this matchup sadly. He just cannot hope to create the opportunities he needs consistently to get ROB in the bad position for his juggles. This is mostly due to having poor frame data vs ROB's projectiles. I recommend in a custom matchup, taking standard...
