Nair and Boomerang are the best tools. Nair to grab or Nair to other aerials are what I try to use a lot.

Entered my first Ultimate tournament today, and managed to meet my goal - win a set xD then lost to a Ganon who made it to 3rd place. Really gotta lab more of Link's combo game because I think that's where I'm weakest.

Seeing as none of the newcomers for Ultimate really interest me, I might unironically play Piranha Plant the most out of the new characters. Depends on what the DLC fighters will be I suppose.

Yeah I can't wait to attempt tether recoveries when I'm off-stage for like the first...month of Ultimate. I also never played much of Smash 4, so all the changes to other characters will be jarring to me no doubt. Very excited for the release regardless!

Yeah if it makes Link more viable that's cool. Then again I've never wanted to play a character specifically because they were simply "better" or more viable lol. Why else have I played Link over all these years. :P
