If you're using both sticks for DI, does holding Y cause a wall jump tech if you collide with the wall? Or are you better off mashing it? Does anyone know how many frames you have to press a jump button before wall teching to get a wall tech jump?

Practice things from ledge. Like ledge release up B (awesome edgeguard) practice upairs fast fall as quick as possible. Practice tech chase timings and pivots are super useful on Donkey Kong. Dash dance and wavedash around with intent as much as possible, and quick edge grabs from the stage.
