are "reverse down smashes" done with perfect pivots, or is there a difference? Also, I don't know how true this is, but if you do footstool - drop nair after lloyd hits and the opponent is near the ledge, he gets thrown out of the stage, which leaves a perfect opening for a bowling ball...

In the spirit of keeping footstool labbing alive, here's is a compilation of some interesting tech from twitter: oh, and ff nair stop locking at 30%, so it's wise to keep that in mind

you can use both for covering ledge options. if your opponent grabs the ledge twice, you can use d tilt to nab a kill. you can also 2 frame it. Up tilt, is usually used for ledge getup, as some people said above. brotip: you can extend d-tilt's hitbox if you have a tree up.

I tried short hopping over the opponent and z drop>footstool with the woodchip. Works just as well if you finish off with a bowling ball. Ive tried footstooling and then z dropping but I keep messing it up. I must practice this more, and woodchip training is a pain in the ass since it disappears...

does woodchip launch them upwards? is there a way to practice this combo consistently without having to wait for the woodchip to spawn? maybe the fairy bottle in training?

Are you saying I did it wrong or is there simply no way for this to work? I'd like to try out other options before giving up on this. I know the nair can be faster and it can also be done immediately after the footstool, although that doesn't lock I think.

jab>jab> upsmash dtilt> up air lloid>footstool>weak nair>dsmash jablock>fsmash jab>jab>axe another one I like to use is lloid as I'm falling and if the opponent is under me drop nair will push him upwards into the rocket.

You can footstool out of down grab with certain characters. I think late nair hit has that hitstun, I'm not sure though. I'm interested in knowing what footstool options villager has since I've been labbing lately too.
