Hello! I am trying to get into Melee but not many of my friends play it or want to play it often. Wondering if any of y’all are in the area that could help a new player? I’ve been playing for a while but I still feel really slow in my movement and would like any help I can get!

Hello guys, I got a new GC controller and had a modder throw some new sticks on it... however my c stick gets stuck to the right and down right position. She said it’ll go away if I hold it down super hard but it has not. Is breaking in sticks normal and I mean is your new sticks getting stuck...

I think he meant something Nintendo themselves make haha but you’re right

wowwwww i literally didn't think it cancels the jump. I have much to learn, I guess I will use the stick to shine OOS, then for example just jump to BAir etc.

You are not wrong @sunflower haha it’s actually really nice to see Melee get more people. I think it is a lot better of a game both in terms of playability and spectator sport. Very hopeful that other Ultimate players switch over to melee or at least support it. I don’t know why in twitch chat...

Honestly Melee is more fun to me right now. The technical skill, practice, payoff of work put in, experience as a spectator sport, player base, and overall fun of the game is much better than Ultimate. I’ve been playing this for a week and I’ve never had so much fun trying to master L cancelling...
