To be fair, Geno didn't really get shafted lol. Both Final Fantasy and Dragon Quests are behemoths of franchises with enough longetivity to speak for themselves. I'm over this idea that one character thwarts another's chances.

In all fairness Byleth looks really cool. The distaste is only from Fire Emblem fighters' history of sharing a redundant archetype.
