Monster Hunter is not about the hunters, it is about the Monsters. Just like pokémon. I highly doubt we will get a hunter someday. But it is more likely than a playable human pokemon character though.

Captain Facondorf never made any sense. But I think a Mewtwo-Giygas situation would be neat. I mean, look at Giygas... They are both psychic-fetus-like-cat.

Just to add, the differences of the echoes are: Giygas- Red effects, different reflector. New Final Smash. Ninten- PK Rock that acts more like PK Flash than PK Freeze, PSI Magnet on both sides, PK Fire activates if hits the ground and acts more like arc fire, no snake tether recovery, PSI...

I completely agree with the replay value. I can make totally different stories every time I play. And yes, the reception would be positive I think, but mostly like the Wii Fit Trainer reception, like, "they went too far, but I like it".

I made a roster with two more fighter passes and two more standalone DLC fighters. I took into consideration the major leaks and rumors, and the relevancy of the franchises. The pokemon is from Sword and Shield.
