The Quick-Capturing Commando - Sami for SSB4! (Celebrating V-G Day! Hope marches on!)

Anyone got a big Sami sig banner similar to this?

Isa Jo, Vote for Him Now on SSB4 website! Both Sin & Punishments Now Storm the Nintendo eShop!

Gonna put in a vote for Isa in a bit. We should also try to get the Saki crew on board since their thread got locked earlier.

Snake Mention in the Nintendo Direct "What Do You Think It Means?"

As well as Fire Emblem. It's more about the feature making sense within the context of that game/series than bias.

New Characters for Project M Discussion Thread (Voting Closed)

I'd like to see Sami make it in.

Early Impressions: Would Wavedashing Improve Smash 4?

Probably, but it's pretty low on my list of things that would improve the game. 1. More hit-stun. 2. More shield stun. 3. Smooth Lander lag on all aerials. 4. Momentum transfer to jumps. 5. Dash-dancing. 6. Less magnetic ledges. 7. Reworked edge trumping mechanics. 8. Better follow-up options...

personal qeustion: How come people don't approve spacing/footsies in Smash bros?

As you've said, it's not like footsies are new to the series - they've been a fundamental part of being a good player since 64. I just feel that Melee (sans Fox and Falco's shine pressure) had the best balance between the neutral and punish game we've seen so far.

personal qeustion: How come people don't approve spacing/footsies in Smash bros?

Footsies aren't as exciting in Smash because the game offers a huge amount of mobility compared to a traditional fighter. Losing a footsies exchange in Street Fighter often means you getting cornered or at least put in a disadvantageous position. In Smash, you can easily platform, roll or...

Proposal: Why not just try allowing all custom moves and equipment in tournament? [Now with a poll]

I just want the Smooth Lander, Hard Breaker and potentially the Glider equips to be tournament-legal.

    Captain Falcon's Combos and Approach

Good vid. Have you had any luck with incorporating tilts into your approaches?

EVO 2015: Melee or Smash 4?

What you're saying here is pretty dumb and doesn't help your argument at all. This is coming from someone who loves 64 and Melee and dislikes the two newest games, by the way. The only problem with Smash 4's "auto-cancel" is that the landing lag on certain moves hasn't been balanced properly...

EVO 2015: Melee or Smash 4?

It's got very little to do with techniques. Wavewiggling-canceling or not, the base foundation of Smash 4 doesn't lend itself to a very dynamic game at a high level of play. AFAIK, Brawl had more advanced techniques than Melee but the former was still trash at a tournament level.

EVO 2015: Melee or Smash 4?

Pretty much. The Melee scene took a pretty big blow after Brawl's release and was shunned and mocked by the traditional fighting game community for several years, but it continued to thrive because the game was so good that people chose to stick with it despite all the setbacks. Brawl just...
