Kind of a dumb question, but are any of the Smash original songs 'unavailable' for use on actual stages (IE used solely for the Menu since that also has a My Music section)? Figured I'd ask since I'm trying to figure out my own music placements.

Dang, I should've been more proactive with downloading the soundtrack when I had the chance, Nintendo ninjas are doing a pretty good job of slowly scrubbing any trace of them off easily available locations. Curse my being busy most of the weekend... Oh well, worst case scenario I just wait till...

I actually have the opposite opinion myself. I like the Fourside remix well enough as a more upbeat rendition that's even closer to the original track in a way, but the Magicant one I'm still not really gelling with. It feels like it's trying a little *too* hard to force itself to be an upbeat...

I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case :P This kinda makes me wish even more we just had the ability to pick any song for any stage, though I still generally appreciate the options we have for My Music now. It just feels weirdly rigid in some areas, which while I suppose is the point of...

I'm moreso frustrated that they didn't make an exception for the my music rules to actually play Mario World music on the Mario World stage like it always has lol. It's especially frustrating since we know there *are* (seemingly) other exceptions to it like the Codename STEAM Fire Emblem tracks...

Uuuugh, massive disappointment that Yoshi's Island is hardlocked to not play any music from its dang game of origin. Hopefully it's something that gets addressed in a future update, but I doubt they'd change something so ultimately minor...

I think the main thing I'm still curious about musicwise is whether they 'fixed' the shortened versions of cut down tracks like the DK Rap since the E3 demo, since we know most of the new remixes go over 2 minutes and at least one goes over 3. Would be a shame if they were still using the cut...

Aw, I'm actually gonna miss that Bravoman retro medley, it was one of my most played songs in Pac-Land. Now that I've kinda looked through the song list and listened to some (though not all) of the new remixes and thought through things, I can honestly say I'm pretty satisfied with what we got...

I think it's legitimately my only real disappointment with the soundtrack so far (apart from no Mystery Dungeon music, but it was a long shot anyway), especially since above all else it's generally agreed that Fates' soundtrack is stellar. Oh well, I'm still pleased with the love Fire Emblem's...

I might be mistaken, but it seems like all of the tracks from Fates are variations of "Lost in Thoughts", I didn't see any with the if prefix that didn't use either the english or JP name of it at least...

Aw man, am I reading that wrong or is all the Fates music in there literally just different versions of Lost in Thoughts? Cuz... that's legitimately a bit disappointing if it's true, not gonna lie. :(
