The OP of that Reddit post maybe didn't realise the Skull Kid figurine was actually just the one from the Majora's Mask 3D collector's edition, but with Nintendo UK posting that out of the blue, there's a sliver of hope there.

Consider me a supporter for this. You know, with Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate for the Switch around the corner - and Rathalos being confirmed as both an Assist Trophy and Boss for Smash Ultimate (on a stage from MH4 no less!), I would love to see the Hunter bring his/her array of weapons...
