Speaking for myself, I don't expect any of the Fighter's Pass characters to appeal to me but I'll probably buy it anyways for the stages and music. Outside of the small chance of another FF/Sonic/Mega Man character, there isn't any 3rd party rep I'd care about. And the only likely 1st party rep...

I'm just stuck here rooting for my no-hope obscure favorite to get in MK11, which is Sareena. At least she was in MKX's story, so she's not forgotten! But yeah, I don't think her chances are high.

I remain skeptical on the leaks beyond DQ, but if it's really Joker, Erdrick, Doomguy, Ninja Gaiden Ryu and someone else....I am the opposite of hyped.

I just wish we had more Kirby content from the Dream Land 2/Dream Land 3/ Kirby 64 trilogy other than the 02 remix. Like the animal friends.

I actually think Crash has a real shot. His franchise is surprisingly popular in Japan, the series just had a notable reboot that was well received, and his characterization fits in so well with other anthropomorphic franchises like Star Fox, Sonic, Pokemon etc. I don't say this as a Crash...

I'm not a Persona player, but given a few days I'm getting pretty hyped as both a huge Sega fanboy and a JRPG nerd(though my tastes lean more towards FF and Breath of Fire style games). This is a really fresh, out of the box choice. Thinking about the timing...if the second pick is revealed in...

All the rules are dead(again), so I'm going all in on Rayman or Crash getting in. Still hope we get one hardcore Nintendo fan want.

I imagine we'll get a Nintendo character or two in the DLC but...man, this was such a shock. I've never played Persona before, but I love me some JRPGs and I've always thought about playing it. The only thing that puts me off is the time mechanic, I've always hated adventure games or rpg's games...

You can make a reasonable argument that , at this point, Luigi has as much claim to his own emblem and franchise as Yoshi does. We need a second Luigi rep!

To be completely honest, barring new IPs and 3rd parties....everyone who is iconic is already in the game. We're fighting over scraps now. Non iconic sixth reps from already represented series or whatever. ....I still want a fourth Kirby or DK rep, but that's just my childhood speaking.
