I agree it's not a free stock but, KKR is combo food his entire life, not just at low %. His size makes sure of this, tons of smaller characters can DI out of Terry's bread and butter combo but KKR eats the whole thing every time. Small characters can DI out of Bayos air combos KKR can't etc...

Except the other super heavies had other things to balance that out. Bowser has insane kill potential, a top tier out of shield option and is by far the fastest heavy in the game. DDD has range and intangibility on a lot of his attacks as well as a very good nair with basically zero landing lag...

At this point, I feel like removing the armor on it would almost be a buff.

Yeah that's pretty much it in a nutshell. Just be careful with it as the delay on using another special move can get you killed sometimes. I find myself using it via drop through on platforms and firing off stage for setups more than anything else, most people don't fall for the suck n cuck...

Can't forget that they have iframes for almost the entire tumble animation, makes it pretty impossible to punish even if you could catch up.

The game only lets you do diagonally/directly up after the suck.

Just make his upsmash function like :ultryu: shield break. Do it in close range and they block, they eat both hits and it smashes their shield. Everything else in his kit besides down smash does negligible shield damage at best. His projectiles are slow and risky, he has no ability to shield...

I think if he were to get the ability to succ projectiles, he shouldn't be allowed to fire them back, or gain any benefit from it (HP like kirby/ness etc.). He should just be able to nullify them, otherwise it starts getting OP. As for any changes to his up-tilt. That's gonna get a big no from...

Nintendo has proven time and time again they have no idea how to balance. Sure yes, they can buff and nerf but, they do it with no clue on what to change. I mean FFS they nerfed/"fixed" little mac lol. You have obscenely powerful and versatile counters like wolf, very good counters like mewtwo...
