Elma for Smash Ultimate: Strength comes from experience. That’s true on any planet.

I've got mixed feeling about CP11 showing up in tomorrow's Direct, Sakurai said there'd be a bit of a wait for it, but that it would drop before the end of the year. Honestly it made me wonder if he was setting it up for the Game Awards. Not that the when of it matters to me much, just hope it's...

I don't remember any leaks for Xenoblade 2, Torna or Definitive Edition but apparently XC3 is an open secret among all the 'insiders'.

Amusingly, a game set long after 1 and 2 could be just before X and delve into Elma's possible connections to Blades and the Monado. X is connected to 1 and 2, we just don't know quite how, but the clearest connection is the Telethia, which was the focal point of Future Connected.

I've been trying to get my head around what they might be working on. What I find most curious is what Monolith Soft are doing with 4 studios. The Kyoto studio is known to be working on BOTW2 and possibly other projects, and the original Tokyo Studio is working on the next Xenoblade game (Not...

People often bring up XCX's poor sales in Japan, but they tend to ignore that the Wii U did really badly there in general. I'm not surprised theres an apetite there for a JRPG with giant robots.

Inb4 Mira IS the distant future and our 'returning characters' are NPCs in X2.

I'm gonna put my hand up and say that this was what I was saying at the start of this year when the NSO update rumours were starting to go around and we heard about the new server infrastructure Nintendo were starting to roll out (Monster Hunter Rise uses it I believe). I'm not gonna vouch for a...

Comes off as a wild rant, Metroid isn't even being developed in Japan, Mercury Steam are in Madrid and Retro are in Texas. Points for killing children... Sounds like a mid 90s flash game.

I do like how in DE you don't need to equip fashion gear in a slot and it's just an unlock instead, would make it alot easier to coordinate party looks in XCX, but in terms of designs, yeah X is super varied.

Appreciate the thought Jocario. Between there only being 1 more character for Ultimate and the next Direct likely being a fair bit away, it feels like theres not much to anticipate or talk about at the moment, but hopefuly, when something does happen, the thread will spring back into life.

Sealer of Darkness - BotW Zelda for Smash! Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity confirmed!

I mean, Zelda is playable underground. BOTW Link on Hyrule, and who I'm assuming is Link from 10 thousand years ago is in the sky.

Sealer of Darkness - BotW Zelda for Smash! Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity confirmed!

We have one hero in the sky, another on the land... I think Zelda exploring the depth of Hyrule and solving it's mysteries makes sense. That's the sort of thing I think they'll string us along for until they're ready to drop a title reveal for this game.

Metroid Dread and BOTW 2 were good to see, and I'm excited to get into the Age of Calamity DLC this weekend, was hoping we'd get the bike as a moveset. Kazuya isn't really my cup of tea but his moveset looks fun and his stage looks cool so I'm excited to see the presentation and then try him...

I'm really looking forward to the direct, even if Elma in Smash doesn't feel at all imminent at the moment, theres plenty other things I want to see. Hopefully others in the thread will be happy with something they show. Not gonna get my hopes up for anything specific today, but nevertheless...

New Monolith Soft hiring artwork, was just chatting to Rie about this on Discord, really interesting/exciting https://twitter.com/MONOLITHSOFT/status/1366218113209917449
