Haven't been on here in a bit, kinda just dipped out of everything Smash once the Steve reveal happened... But I've been getting back into it again lately, so I figured I might as well come back. I'm assuming nothing big's happened since then though? Well shoot, I know this is a couple days...

Yes and yes. They did specify that we're getting "a character" revealed tomorrow, so just one there. But I could definitely see another one get announced by the end of the year. Whether that's at the game awards, another presentation like this one, a direct, not really sure.

So we have our reveal confirmed now... This really could be our time now. While I'm not absolutely 100% confident on it being Geno, never can be until it's actually confirmed, he is the one that I think is the most likely right now. Wow... Can I be added in on this too? Guess there's three of...

Uh... Why are people saying this kind of thing? What part of it would be false advertising? They never said that there will be a Smash presentation by the time the ad gets taken down/changed, just that the ad is up until that specific date. I want the next character as much as anyone, but I...

I don't see how this matters at all... Especially considering that there's a big Square Enix sale going on now on Steam too, and likely even other platforms like Playstation or Xbox. They're probably just doing a sale completely unrelated to Smash or Switch specifically.

Here's the thing with that though... We already knew that was a thing. We already knew that we were getting a FE DLC that was a new story. We don't know for sure about the SMRPG remake/sequel/whatever or any other potential character related announcements.

This, the only thing I remember her being "right" about was when she gave 4 dates, and ONE of them happened to be a date that something happened on. That's more of a lucky guess than anything else.

Not gonna happen. It happened because Nintendo messed up with an update and had their files in it, and they've been pretty on top of making sure that doesn't happen lately. There hasn't been anything that's been revealed by the files since the whole "brave"/Hero situation.

We have. I know for sure that Hero's got announced at 9 PM EST, and I want to say one of the others did as well but I'm not completely 100% sure there.

...How do they relate? They don't have anything to do with each other. At most it just deconfirms a full direct, bit it does nothing to change the chances of anything Smash.

It's possible that we get a Sakurai presents announced for this week's news, I know Hero's got announced late at night and I believe Terry's did too. 9 PM EST on Tuesday night is when the announcements usually happen, so in just about 7 and a half hours from now.

To add on to this point, I remember Superhot and Hotline Miami had the same thing happen, then they were announced and released in an indie direct less than a week later, only a few days I believe. So this very well could be pointing to SOMETHING. Whether that's a partner direct, a full direct...
