I agree with what you said for G&W. Fair is so underwhelming. Maybe take some of Nair's (ridiculous) damage and stuff it into Fair. It'd make his air game more complete and he already has a much better ground game compared to Brawl. Then he'd mostly have to deal with unreliable kills and rage...

Marth has Fair>Crescent Slash which can kill as well. It's actually a better recovery move than you'd think because it's invincible in air from frames 1-10 so it's not easy to edgeguard. He also gets Jigglypuff airspeed as he falls to the ground after.

Lol Brawl boards. Probably so dead. I hate jank so much @__@ I'd probably like it more if I had characters with janky customs. But kinda glad that G&W sucks because bucket shenanigans in teams is ugh.
