Fly needs a better hitbox to cover Charizard's back as well so it fits the animation of the move.

Nah Charizard's fastest attack is that belly slam (6Y I think), it's the only move Charizard has that is fast enough to punish Lucario's Bone Rush. It's a great move in general especially next to the walls.

No it just knocks them out of their grab stance.

I normally just UP Y to get into the air, it helps avoid some counters too.

Charizard. =P He's a lot better than people think... just like in Smash.

Yeah, just been playing and I'm shocked at how good it is. it's like a better version of Knee of Justice.

The increased sweet spot size is great too, it hits more reliably near Charizard's back during the end frames of the move.

Thanks, yeah I still haven't got the timing down properly yet on using his Neutral air perfectly but I'm getting there.

Need to rely on Up Throw to kill her safely due to the fact that nearly all of Charizard's moves are telegraphed. Witch Time beats out invincibility and intangibility, Charizard's best traits. I saved some vids showing how Charizard can cheekly gimp linear recoveries: Skip to 1:38 Skip to 2:05 Charizard is seriously one of the best characters for edge guarding.

Dash Attack got less end lag in the last patch. The only change to Charizard this patch is his Up Smash. This has been confirmed by data mining.

I've changed my opinion about the new Up Smash hit box, it's much better. I'm so used to playing Charizard that I kinda know what move is going to hit or not so I was so surprised when I decided to test out Up Smash's new hit boxes in competitive matches, it feels like a reliable anti-air move...
